Turf Cricket League Tournament 2024 is set to happen on July 13 & 14, 2024, at the Warrior Turf and Cafe. Here are the details:
Date: Saturday and Sunday, July 13 & 14, 2024
Venue: Warrior Turf and Cafe, Civil Aerodrome, Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu - 641014
Entry Fee: ₹1800 per team
Advance Payment: ₹800
Tournament Format:
All matches will be held inside the turf.
32 teams competing in a knockout format.
8 teams per group.
5 overs per match (bowling allocation: 2+1+1+1)
Mercury balls will be used.
Each team will have 7 players (6 main players + 1 impact or substitute player).
Players must be under 26 or born on or after 1997.
Pure chucking tournament with no fast bowling allowed.
Rules:
Umpire's decisions are final.
A player can only play for one team.
Organizers reserve the right to change the rules.
Prizes:
1st Prize: ₹27,000 + Trophy + Medals
2nd Prize: ₹14,000 + Trophy + Medals
3rd Prize: ₹10,000 + Medals
4th Prize: ₹7,500 + Medals
Best Batsman: Special Award
Best Bowler: Special Award
