Takeoff Champs will be conducting a Schools Sports Challenge for students, both boys and girls, of class 1 to 12th, on October 4, 8 a.m. onwards at FC Marina Football Academy _ Centre of Excellence 133/77, Chettiyar Agaram Road, Numbal, Vanagram, Chennai. The partners of the event are Sports Dynamix, XL1 and Pattu's sweets and spices.
Events for each kid include Football (3 penalty kicks, 30 points), Basketball (4 free throws, 20 points, Cricket (3 attempts hit the stumps, 30 points) and Golf (4 put in challenge, 30 points).
The chief guests are N. Niranjana, India women cricketer, Ramji Srinivasan, Ex-India cricket team trainer, and Ashwath Bobo, Jio Cinema presenter and commentator.
About ₹1 lakh worth of prizes are to be won. Students getting 70 & 75 points out of 100 will get prizes worth ₹ 150 besides a medal. Students getting 80/100 will get Prizes worth ₹200 and a medals. Top five best schools with maximum 80+ points will get trophies. Besides top five schools' coaches/ PET will get a cash reward of ₹2500. each. Participation certificates will be given to all.
The last date for registration is September 27.
Sports academies and Clubs can also participate in the event. The event will be live streamed on Takeoff Champs youtube channel.
