Rishab, Shakthi power Lalaji Omega to title win

Lalaji Memorial Omega International School won the Youth Cricket Festival Trophy, hosted by Jeppiaar University. In the final Lalaji defeated Jeppiaar ERS by eight wickets.

Rishab claimed three wickets for eight runs in three overs including a maiden. He was well-supported by Rishith Adhavan (2/21) and Saikrissh B (2/1). Opener Ashwin Rajini scored a 40-ball 24 with four boundaries and was the top-scorer for Jeppiaar ERS U14.

In response to Jeppiaar's 93, Shakthi Velan Sathia Moorthy smashed a 35-ball 54 with eight fours and two sixes at a strike rate of 154.29 to seal the deal for Lalaji Memorial Omega International School U14 team. They chased down the target in 13 overs. S Kaushik (21*) and skipper Arya Ganesh (13 off 6 balls) remained unbeaten as Omega won with 8 wickets in hand.
