SRM IST's men's volleyball team claimed the gold medal at the 23rd South Zone Invitation Volleyball (Men) Tournament, organized by Tamil Annai Volleyball Club in Thanjavur from May 22nd to 24th, 2024. In the finals, SRM IST defeated Tamizhannai Club with scores of 25-18, 25-17, 23-25, and 25-22.
