Kancheepuram defeated Mayiladuthurai by an innings and 73 runs in the TNCA Inter Districts U-19 Tournament quarter-finals held at BL Sports Facilities Ground, Chennai. Kancheepuram scored 235 in 74.2 overs, with a standout performance from Sashwath Vijay, who scored 134. Mayiladuthurai was bowled out for 98 in the first innings and 64 in the second, with A.P. Jaanav taking 6/29 and A. Sharvin claiming 7/23.
Coimbatore advances over Tirunelveli
Coimbatore reached the semi-finals by taking a first-innings lead against Tirunelveli in their drawn match at Lalaji Omega International School, Chennai.
