M. Mohamed Mavasim’s six-wicket haul (6/69) was instrumental in the big win Kanyakumari secured over Nilgiris. P. R. Rayan Paul (90) and J. Jenish (79) starred with the bat for Kanyakumari.
Thasish Kannan picked up five wickets for Coimbatore in the drawn match.
K. Rithikeshwaran’s six for 34 sent Kallakurchi reeling in the second innings giving Mayiladuthurai a big win.
Aryan Sanjay Thakre starred with the ball for Chengalpattu picking up six wickets for 25 runs as Nagapattinam was bowled out for 35 in 31.5 overs in the first innings. K. Farhaan (65), Prem (65), and L. Mani Bharathi (41 n.o) added to their opponents misery, B. Ragul picked up a five for.
Another notable performance came in the Tirunelveli vs Karur match. while Karur’s Yasotharapriyan bowled well to pick up seven wickets (7/71), C.K. Vishal scored 144 off 177 balls(21x4, 4x6).
