A wonderful spell of bowling by left-arm spinner S Vengata Narayanan, in which he picked up six wickets including a hat-trick, giving away just eight runs, helped Cuddalore put it past Thanjavur in the TNCA inter Districts U-19 Tournament.

In another match D. Deepesh picked up five wickets to help his team Chengulpattu win over Dharmapuri. C. K Vishal’s unbeaten 112-ball 110, which included seven 4s and five 6s helped Karur post a big win over Sivagangai.
