Gold for SRM IST women’s team
SRM IST women’s team won the Gold medal in the South Zone inter- University women’s basketball tournament held at MG University Kottayam December 20 to 24.
The South Zone inter-University championship saw SRM IST emerge victorious, and the top 4 teams advanced to the all-India inter-University basketball tournament to be hosted by Kurukshetra University in January 2025.
The results:
Quarter finals: SRM IST beat VTU 74-36.
Super League Match 1: SRM IST beat University of Calicut, KL 65-62.
Super League Match 2: SRM IST beat MG University, KL 80-71.
Super League Match 3: SRM IST beat Christ, KAR 63-57.
