NRK Maduraiveeran Select bags title
NRK Maduraiveeran Select beat 7 Brothers Ambattur 21-19 in the final of The Grand Kabaddi Tournament organized by NRK Sports Club held at Nagarajakandigai, Kumudipoondi, Thiruvallur District recently.
In the 1st semifinal, 7 Brothers Ambattur defeated SSV Moulivaakam. In the 2nd semifinal, NRK Maduraiveeran Select defeated NRK C team. Among 40 participating teams, NRK Maduraiveeran Select claimed the championship, followed by 7 Brothers Ambattur as runners-up. SSA Moulivaakam secured third place, and MRK C team finished fourth.
Individual awards were presented to S. Iayaraja from NRK Maduraiveeran Select as the Best Defender and Anu from the same team as the Best Raider.
