SRMIST Whites wins the Founders Birthday Trophy
SRMIST Whites won the Founders Birthday Trophy by defeating Jeppiaar in the final, held on August 24 at the SRM Dental Ground, Chennai.
SRM IST Whites scored 210 losing seven wickets in 20 overs thanks to Amith Sathvik’s74. Nitin R Ramanan (28) and Ananda Kumar (29) propped up the total.
In reply Jeppiaar was bowled out for 193, V. Sanjeev Kumar’s rearguard unbeaten 86 to no avail. Dinesh Raj (29) and Pravan Kumar (38) were the other contributors.
