Chennai district bagged three of the four gold medals on offer in squash school category to extend their lead at the top of the medals tally in the CM Trophy 2024 Games on Friday.
Arihant KS defeated teammate Shiven Agarwal 6-11, 11-3,11-8 to clinch the boys’ singles gold while Ananya N got the better of Kriya Saravanan 12-10, 11-5 in the girls’ singles final.
Chennai also won the boys doubles gold in squash while Yaazhini Rajesh won the Gymnastics gold in the Balancing beam competition in the school girls category.
