P Shijit Chandran's all-round show helps Fine Star to a thumping win
P Shijit Chandran, who scored 64 and then picked up Six wickets, helped Fine Star CA score a thumping in over Seshadhri MCC in the 1st division match of the TNCA Thiruvallur DCA League Championship.
In reply to Fine Star’s 254 for seven in 45 overs, thanks to K Sriram (79), P Shijit Chandran (64) and Akash Sumra (58),
Seshadhri MCC batsmen fell to the guiles of off-spinner Shijit Chandran and the team was bowled out for 146 in 36.2 overs with Shijit Chandran picking up six for 29.
M. Pasupathy Chandran also returned a five-wicket haul , but his team Korattur CC could not get past Thiruvallur CC in another 1st division match.
Chasing Thiruvallur CC’s 181, with Pasupathy sending half the team to the pavilion, Korattur could only manage 156 in 35 overs.
R Rajaguru’s five-wicket haul helped Mugappair CC destroy Wheels India RC in another match in the II division of the TNCA Thiruvallur DCA League Championships.
Medium pacer Rajaguru’s fierce burst derailed Wheels India RC’s innings which ended up in 13.3 overs with just 57 runs on board. V. Aakash chipped in with three wickets. Mugappair overhauled the small total in 13 overs losing four wickets.
